Updates and tenants stories

The Eviction Defence Network organizes through our on the ground relations to people facing evictions, harassment and landlord abuse. Publishing about these fights serves to highlight the stories landlords, building managers and city politicians would rather silence. At the same time, they teach us about the lives of people facing evictions, their resilience, the fights they wage through their everyday struggles and what they can teach us about our current moment and possibilities to organize for justice and safe housing for all. To fight evictions, we need to break the isolation we face, and build strong networks to foster the power of our low income Indigenous and working class communities against displacement.
